How to achieve financial freedom if you're a stay at home mom

My husband recently said to me that if I were to become the breadwinner, he’d take over all the cooking. WHAT. This man was serious. Needless to say, I haven’t stopped writing since. It also got me thinking about all the other women that are in the same boat as me. So it’s time to come up with a list of six-figure business ideas for stay at home moms! Jobs and businesses that can be started during nap time or when Moana is singing. Businesses where we retain full control over our schedule so we can take the whole day off for a sick kid or all of a sudden spend 8 hours a day during a week of camp.

This is that list. Not only are these six-figure businesses possible, but they’re happening each and every day. We’re not talking about becoming the next J.K. Rowling or Sara Blakely. Sure, that would be fabulous. (And please, please, please come back and tell me that I helped you make that dream come true.)

What we’re talking about are good, high-quality six-figure businesses for stay at home moms that already have proven business models and case studies in place. Businesses that won’t necessarily make you enough to end world hunger, but are actually enough to support your entire family, make more than your husband, and potentially change the trajectory of both of your lives. 10 Hobbies that Make Money for Stay-at-Home Moms

All of these hobbies give stay at home moms the ability to make money from home!

I’ll be the first to tell you that nothing is as wonderful as staying at home with your kids. I’ll also be the first to tell you that nothing is as wonderful as making your own money, on your own terms, doing what you love.

And as luck would have it, you can actually do all of these things at the exact same time. It sounds too good to be true, but it’s totally achievable. You just start by making money from your hobbies!

I have not one, but two hobbies that make me money while still being a stay-at-home mom. Neither interferes with taking care of my kids. In fact, often, they’re a welcome, if not necessary part of it. But most importantly, these hobbies (both of which have the potential to become full-blown careers) provide me with more mental stimulation than I ever got in a 9-5 office setting. They also give me something to talk about with my husband that doesn’t revolve around our kids or household. And of course, they make me money, which means much more than just the extra cash around the house.

So if you’re feeling the pull to go back to work, but also have a big case of mom guilt, consider some of these hobbies that may be able to give you the best of both worlds!

The 5 Best Ways to Make Money on Zazzle

I’ve said it time and again, and I’ll say it once more – I love Zazzle. There are so many fun components about it and best of all, it pays (I’m not going to lie…that’s one of my favorite parts).

I’m a huge fan of making money from your hobbies and Zazzle is perfect for that. And honestly, once you get good at it, it can pay far more than what your accountant will consider hobby income.
